Job summary

Travel Recommends Sdn Bhd is seeking an AR Executive / Senior Executive to manage accounts receivable, credit control and related finance processes. The role reports to the AP/AR Manager and works with the finance shared services team to ensure timely collections and accurate accounting.

We require a Diploma in Accounting or LCCI and at least 5 years of AR experience, with strong Excel and ERP skills. This role supports billing, reconciliations and liaison with auditors, within a dynamic travel

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounts Receivable, credit controls or similar accounting roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and ERP systems.
• Independent, initiative, and meticulous with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AR aging and proactively follow up on outstanding balances with customers.
• Execute credit control procedures in line with company policy.
• Manage and perform daily reconciliation of sales receipts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support end-to-end AR functions including billing, collections and reconciliation.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of credit card statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit invoices and supporting documents through customers' and/or suppliers' portals.
• Prepare monthly AR intercompany matrix for financial reporting.
• Review and verify staff claims per company policy.
• Support master data maintenance in the ERP system to ensure accuracy.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors on AR-related matters with supporting documentation.

AR Executive / Senior Executive, Finance [Urgent Hiring]

This is a hands-on, process-driven role reporting to the AP/AR Manager, working alongside AP and Billing counterparts within the finance shared services team. You will own day-to-day accounts receivable follow-up and credit control across the group.

Key responsibilities

Monitor AR Aging and proactively follow up on outstanding balances with customers.

Execute credit control procedures in line with company policy

Manage and perform daily reconciliation of sales receipts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.

Support the end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) function, including billing, collections and reconciliation.

Perform monthly reconciliation of credit card statements and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.

Prepare and submit invoices and supporting documents through customers' and/or suppliers' portals.

Prepare the monthly AR intercompany matrix and provide relevant information for financial reporting.

Review and verify staff claim in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Support the review, maintenance and verification of master data in the ERP system to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Liaise with internal and external auditors on AR-related matters and provide the necessary supporting documentation.

Minimum Diploma in Accounting/LCCI

Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounts Receivable, credit controls or similar accounting roles

Proficient in Microsoft applications
