Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking an Applications Engineer in Malaysia to monitor applications and servers, fix issues, and develop code as needed. The role involves supporting users, collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting solutions, and maintaining security in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of related experience with a degree, strong English communication, and the ability to work across time zones occasionally. Logistics/warehouse knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of related experience with a degree.
• Ability to work in multicultural and complex environments.
• Knowledge in logistics and warehouse is preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills to understand and fix issues.
• Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Proficient in Oracle Forms and Reports.
• Able to work independently.
• Good English communication; willing to work across overseas time zones occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Monitor applications and servers to ensure smooth operation.
• Identify and resolve technical problems quickly.
• Development work for requirements or fixes.
• Support users with technical queries and concerns.
• Collaborate with teams to solve issues and improve systems.
• Document incidents, solutions, and processes for future reference.
• Ensure system security by following IT policies.
• Represent manager in meetings when required.
