Job summary

Arrow Electronics in Johor, Malaysia is seeking an Applications Engineer to monitor applications and servers and resolve issues. You will develop solutions when required, support users, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve systems.

Strong SQL/Oracle skills and English communication are essential for success. The role requires 3–4 years of related experience with a degree, logistics knowledge preferred, and the ability to work across time zones.

Qualifications

Position: Applications Engineer

Job Description: What You'll Be Doing

Monitor Systems: Keep an eye on applications and servers to ensure they run smoothly.

Fix Issues: Identify and resolve technical problems quickly.

Development: Requirements or issue fixes requiring coding

Support Users: Help users with their technical queries and concerns.

Collaborate with Teams: Work with other teams to solve issues and improve systems.

Document Work: Record incidents, solutions, and processes for future reference.

Ensure Security: Follow IT policies and maintain system security.

Represent Manager in management meeting as and when required.

What We Are Looking For

Typically requires 3-4 years of related experience with a degree; or equivalent work experience. Ability to working in multiple culture and complex structure environment Knowledge in Logistics and warehouse are preferred Excellent Analytical skills to understand and replicate the issue/bug and fix accordingly Excellent knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Excellent knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports Can work independently Good English communication is a must and be able to work in overseas time zone occasionally
