Job summary

Arrow Components (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Applications Engineer to monitor systems, fix issues, and support users across our global logistics platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams, document incidents, and ensure security while aligning with company IT policies.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of related experience with a degree, strong Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of related experience with a degree; or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and complex environment.
• Knowledge in Logistics and warehouse is preferred.
• Analytical skills to reproduce and fix issues accurately.
• Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL knowledge.
• Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports.
• Good English communication; able to work in overseas time zones occasionally.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Monitor Systems: Keep an eye on applications and servers to ensure they run smoothly.
• Fix Issues: Identify and resolve technical problems quickly.
• Development: Requirements or issue fixes requiring coding
• Support Users: Help users with their technical queries and concerns.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work with other teams to solve issues and improve systems.
• Document Work: Record incidents, solutions, and processes for future reference.
• Ensure Security: Follow IT policies and maintain system security.
• Represent Manager in management meeting as and when required.

What We Are Looking For

• Typically requires 3-4 years of related experience with a degree; or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to working in multiple culture and complex structure environment
• Knowledge in Logistics and warehouse are preferred
• Excellent Analytical skills to understand and replicate the issue/bug and fix accordingly
• Excellent knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• Excellent knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports
• Can work independently
• Good English communication is a must and be able to work in overseas time zone occasionally
