Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Senior Field Applications Engineer in Penang, Malaysia. You will drive demand creation across ASEAN by maximizing Arrow content on designs and act as the technical spokesperson to suppliers, representing Arrow.

You will also understand customer needs, coordinating with Business Development and Engineering Services to facilitate solutions, and support sales with pre- and post-sales technical work across regions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years in R&D, electronics hardware design or field applications in EMS/semiconductor.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and programming.
• Proficiency in MCU coding would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Drive demand creation across ASEAN by maximizing Arrow content on designs.
• Lead as technical spokesperson to suppliers representing Arrow.
• Understand customer needs and facilitate solutions using Arrow resources.
• Partner with sales for pre- and post-sales technical support.
• Attend supplier trainings and develop strategic technical plans.
