Altera in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an Application Engineer for Worldwide Regional Applications. You will handle customer escalations, collaborate with field teams and distributors to improve designs and customer experience, and participate in international projects with cross-organizational teams.

You will develop training materials for new features, share industry approaches, and help propagate best design methodologies using Quartus tool.

Formación

• RTL-based design flows knowledge is an advantage.
• Good understanding of FPGA/ASIC design process and tool flow.
• Solid problem-solving abilities for system-level issues.
• Ability to collaborate across sites and domains with a positive attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Handle key customer escalations from analysis to closure.
• Work with field teams and distributors to improve designs and customer experience.
• Participate in development projects as part of international cross-organizational teams.
• Develop and deliver training materials on new features and methodologies.
• Foster strong local, regional, and international communication and cooperation within a team.
• Stay current with industry approaches, algorithms, and practices.
