Job summary

Qualifications

The role involves providing technical support, resolving application incidents, performing root cause analysis, and working closely with development and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and support enterprise applications to ensure high availability and performance.
• Investigate and resolve application-related incidents, problems, and service requests within agreed SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurring issues.
• Collaborate with development teams for bug fixes, enhancements, and deployment activities.
• Manage application configurations, patches, and upgrades in production and non-production environments.
• Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and technical solutions for knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards during application maintenance.
• Provide on-call support and participate in incident management during critical outages.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is desired.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, development, and deployment methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases, such as Oracle and MySQL.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting, e.g. Shell and Python.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, including Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
