Puratos Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, is seeking an Application Specialist to join our team. In this full-time role, you will deliver efficient, creative and competitive solutions for key accounts in collaboration with R&D and Technical teams.

You will focus on technical support, application development for (semi) industrial production lines, and building customer relationships in the baking industry.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food technology/Science or equivalent.
• 3–5 years experience in the baking industry.
• Expert in industrial processing (equipment, procedures & settings).
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong problem-solving and technical sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting at customer sites.

About the role

Puratos Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Application Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position based in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, you will play a crucial role in delivering efficient, creative, differentiated and competitive solutions for key accounts, in collaboration with the R&D and Technical team.

What you'll be doing

Conduct technical support and troubleshooting activities at customers site to support on business development and opportunities

Implement application development & develop industry approach for customers with (semi) industrial production line including semi/large industry, food service, retailer and bakery chain.

Focus on delivering efficient, creative, differentiated and competitive solutions for key accounts, in collaboration with the R&D and Technical team.

What we're looking for

Preferably with a Degree in Food technology/ Science or equivalent

At least 3 - 5years relevant experiences in baking industry – breads, cakes, pastries.

Expert in industrial processing (equipment, operating procedures & settings)

Problem solving capabilities

Possess technical sales skills

Understand functionality of ingredients/additives

Good organization skills, adaptable to changes

Ability to interact effectively with department, company or customer associates and experience in a team-oriented environment

Good command of both written and spoken English

Professional work ethic & positive working attitude
