Job summary

TEKMARK SDN BHD is seeking an Application Engineer to integrate, commission, troubleshoot, and train customers on robotics systems. You’ll support sales, deliver demos, and craft technical proposals for automation projects in Malaysia.

You should hold a degree in Electrical, Electronic, Robotics, or Mechatronics Engineering, with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, and be comfortable presenting complex tech to non‑technical audiences. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Robotics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience in technical support, training, demo, or project delivery is a plus—but fresh grads are welcome too.
• Bonus if you’ve worked with embedded systems, automation, or in the semiconductor / electronics industry.
• Extra points: Basic understanding of programming, cloud systems, or system integration.
• Strong in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Work with sales to strategize, propose solutions, run demos, support tender bids, and build customer relationships.
• Deliver technical proposals, POCs, and support product training, testing, and commissioning.
• Be the face of our robots: present at trade shows, record training videos, and create tech notes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues; proactively improve technical support services.
• Handle escalations and stay current with AI, IoT, robotics, industrial automation, and cloud integration.

You’ll be a tech ambassador—supporting our sales team, solving real customer problems, and helping to close exciting automation projects across various industries.

What you’ll do

Sales & Technical Support

Work hand-in-hand with sales to strategize, propose solutions, run demos, support tender bids, and build strong customer relationships.

Deliver technical proposals, application proof-of-concepts (POCs), and support product training, testing, and commissioning.

Be the face of our robots: present at trade shows, record training videos, and create impactful tech notes.

Customer Satisfaction

Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues like a pro.

Proactively improve our technical support services.

Be the calm in the storm—handle escalations smartly and keep customers happy.

What You’ll Bring

Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Robotics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
