Job summary

OCBC Bank Malaysia is seeking an Application Technical Support professional to join its Cyberjaya operations. You will provide support and enhancements for bank applications, spanning Java and .NET stacks, with 18x7 shift coverage on rotation.

You will collaborate with cross-border teams, perform Level 2 production support, conduct root-cause analysis, and monitor system health to ensure stability. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for learning and development.

Job Descriptions

• Provide application support and enhancement for applications used in the bank.
• Perform Level 2 of production support
• Perform problem investigation – problem identification, root cause analysis, solution definition, development, and implementation.
• Understand the system design and provide impact analysis to any changes.
• Perform application health check and monitoring

Job Requirements

• Required to work on shifts on a rotational basis to provide 18 by 7 support with 2 days off. (9 hours per shift – 6:30am to 3:30pm/ 2:30pm to 11:30pm)
• Work location is in Cyberjaya
• Application Technical Support on either of the following:
• Applications based on Java technology and WebLogic/ Websphere/ JBoss OR
• Applications based on .NET technology and Microsoft IIS
• Platform Knowledge on Linux/ UNIX OR Windows Server.
• Database knowledge on MS SQL OR Oracle database.
• Knowledge in Banking IT environment will be a plus.
• Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and team player.
• Able to work with cross border colleagues
