We are looking for an Application Developer to support the development, enhancement and maintenance of government digital applications. The role involves hands‑on programming, application enhancement, troubleshooting, system optimisation, testing and technical support. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to develop and maintain reliable applications, perform source‑code enhancements, resolve technical issues and ensure applications remain stable, secure and compatible with the evolving technology environment.
Minimum Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Application Development or other relevant IT‑related fields.
Minimum 5 years of relevant programming/application development experience, excluding internship or industrial training.
Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, Liferay, KOHA or Statamic or equivalent CMS platforms.
Minimum 3 years of experience working with databases, particularly MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB or MSSQL.
Minimum 3 years of experience with mobile application development frameworks, particularly Ionic and/or Flutter.
Good understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP).
Willing to work on‑site in Jalan Sultan Salahuddin, Kuala Lumpur.
Willing to participate in the required screening, programming assessment and interview process.
