Job summary

MSIG Malaysia is seeking an Applications Analyst (Executive) to ensure IT solutions are effectively evaluated and implemented to meet business requirements, manage software change controls and service quality standards. The role also provides proactive IT support to the User Community and ensures uniform infrastructure, systems and procedures are maintained.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a computer-related discipline.
• Preferably with 2 years of relevant experience in system analysis and programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop the development of eCommerce applications and other applications as assigned.
• Gather, analyse, design and plan application changes to meet business requirements.
• Develop program specifications, code, test and debug programs, and prepare documentation/user guides.
• Control software changes and ensure documentation/user guides are implemented and maintained.
• Coordinate and support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-implementation activities.

Job description

The role also provides proactive IT support to the User Community, ensures uniform infrastructure, systems and procedures are maintained, and supports compliance with application technical standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of eCommerce applications and other applications as assigned.
• Conduct requirements gathering, analysis, design and planning of application changes to meet business requirements.
• Develop program specifications, code programs, test and debug programs, and prepare documentation and user guides in accordance with agreed standards.
• Control software changes, provide effective solutions, and ensure necessary documentation and user guides are accurately implemented, documented and maintained.
• Coordinate and provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-implementation activities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification, preferably in a computer-related discipline.
• Preferably with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in system analysis and programming.

Required Skills

Knowledge of Polisy400, application development and project management techniques.
