Job summary

Kardex is seeking a Software Support Engineer based in Kuala Lumpur/Selangor to support Kardex WES and AutoStore software on customer sites across APAC. The role combines software expertise with warehouse operations know-how and involves travel and on-site engagement.

The ideal candidate will be adept at troubleshooting, coordinating with development teams, and delivering high-quality support while contributing to ongoing product improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication; customer-focused.
• Ability to handle tight deadlines and priorities.
• Excellent troubleshooting with real-time software systems.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting.
• Experience with .NET and Java Framework deployment.
• Travel up to 20–30% across APAC.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and define Kardex WES software requirements.
• Integrate and test Kardex WES software in-house and on site.
• Configure systems per customer requirements.
• Develop test plans and release notes for deployment.
• Lead training sessions for customer personnel.
• Provide Level 1–3 support and issue resolution.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call coverage.
