Job summary

Kardex Group currently seeks a proactive Software Project Manager to lead WMS projects across our APAC region. Based in Sydney or Kuala Lumpur, you will partner with our WES product center, clients, and project teams to define scope and deliverables, ensuring sign-off and value delivery.

The role requires strong SDLC and Agile know‑how, plus experience guiding workshops and coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams to successful software deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of software management experience in WMS and intralogistics automation.
• Excellent understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and project management.

Responsibilities

• WMS expert on intralogistics automation and technology.
• Collaborate with WMS product center to understand capabilities, features, and integration requirements.
• Lead customer workshops to gather requirements and secure signoff.
• Act as single point of contact for software and IT topics among internal teams, PMs, and clients.
• Work with project managers to ensure software deliverables meet timelines and needs.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams and uphold quality standards.
• Address software issues promptly and propose effective solutions.
• Support implementation including testing, deployment and post-implementation support.
• Document software configurations, specifications and user guides.
• Travel to project sites within APAC region (20–30%).
