MY1 Kardex Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Software Support Engineer to join our Kuala Lumpur/Selangor team. You will provide Level 1‑3 support for Kardex WES and AutoStore software at customer sites across APAC, addressing issues and aiding deployments.

The role requires strong communication, troubleshooting skills, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. Willingness to travel 20–30% to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Active team player with customer focus.
• Ability to meet tight datelines and priorities.
• Excellent troubleshooting with real‑time software systems.
• Experience with .NET and Java frameworks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to analysis and definition of Kardex WES software requirements.
• Participate in integration and testing of Kardex WES software at in‑house and customer sites.
• Set up, configure and define rules per customer requirements.
• Develop understanding of customer operational practices and needs.
• Create and enhance test plans and cases; draft release notes for smooth deployment.
• Lead training sessions for customer personnel on Kardex WES functionality.
• Provide Level 1‑3 support and manage tickets from customers or Kardex Level 1 technicians.
• Escalate issues to Kardex WES product team and participate in on‑call 24/7 coverage.
