Job summary

Balazs is seeking a Procurement Operations Support Lead (Japanese speaker) based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This role will oversee a dynamic procurement support team, drive P2P governance, and expand regional footprints in Japan and Pacific markets.

You will lead daily operations, coach multicultural teams, and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3–5 years in GBS/Shared Services or Procurement Ops, and strong experience with Coupa,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years in a Global Business Services, Shared Services, or Procurement Operations environment with supervisory experience.
• Hands-on experience with e-Procurement and ERP systems (Coupa, Oracle/D365, Graphite Connect, or ServiceNow).
• Leadership experience in multi-cultural, cross-regional teams with talent development focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily procurement support operations and coach team across APAC regions.
• Enforce governance and compliance; track PO acknowledgments and aging POs; ensure audit readiness.
• Oversee P2P transactions, intercompany PRs and PO lifecycles; manage catalog testing and escalations.
