Job summary

Remote is hiring a Manager, Payroll Operations to own the planning and implementation of our Payroll chapter within the Global Payroll Operations team. This role is fully remote and operates in a fast-paced, international environment.

You will lead the Payroll team, ensure payroll is processed accurately and compliant with country-specific regulations, and build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external providers.

Qualifications

• Extensive regional/global payroll experience in international contexts.
• Strong knowledge of global payroll best practices.
• Experience implementing payroll across multiple countries.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with payroll providers.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with SAP and spreadsheet tools (Excel/Google Sheets).
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, globally distributed, async environment.
• Fluent in English with clear written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Payroll Operations team with mentorship and guidance.
• Own the complete payroll function, ensuring timely, accurate processing and regulatory compliance.
• Act as the contact point between internal and external stakeholders on payroll matters.
• Unblock and support the payroll team; drive continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with international payroll laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and country-specific policies and procedures.
• Manage relationships with payroll providers and service partners.
• Develop and implement KPIs and SLA metrics for the team.
