Job summary

Boston Scientific in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Payroll Analyst III to independently manage end-to-end payroll for APAC populations. You will validate results, uphold controls, and improve processes while coordinating with HR, Finance and external providers.

The role requires 5–8 years of payroll experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in payroll systems and Excel. A multi-country payroll background is preferred, with focus on accuracy and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• 5–8 years of payroll experience in MNCs; APAC or global payroll preferred.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Experience with multiple payroll vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Analytical, problem-solving and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in Excel and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll for assigned countries/sites/populations.
• Process and validate payroll transactions including changes, deductions, and off-cycle payments.
• Perform reconciliations, controls, variance analysis, and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with payroll, tax, SOX, privacy, and company policies.
• Coordinate expatriate and complex payroll transactions where applicable.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, Benefits and external providers to ensure accuracy.
