Job summary

Boston Scientific Gruppe in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Payroll Analyst III (Korean Speaking) to lead end-to-end payroll for APAC populations. You will ensure accurate, on-time payments and compliance with statutory and company requirements, while coordinating with HR, Finance, and external providers.

The role requires Korean and English fluency, 5–8 years of payroll experience, and a focus on standardization, automation, and process improvement in a global services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline such as HR, Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• 5–8 years of payroll experience with end-to-end processing and vendor management.
• Fluency in Korean and English is required for Korea-based payroll operations.
• Experience supporting Korea payroll and understanding Korean payroll regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Excel proficiency.
• Experience in Shared Services/GBS or multinational environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll for assigned countries/sites/employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Process and validate payroll transactions including changes, compensation, time, leaves, deductions, and benefits.
• Perform reconciliations, variance analysis, controls, and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with payroll, tax, social security, statutory, SOX, and privacy requirements.
• Prepare statutory filings, payments, year-end activities, and payroll reports.
• Coordinate expatriate and complex payroll transactions as applicable.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Benefits, and GBS for accurate delivery and reporting.
• Manage external payroll providers and monitor service levels.
