Job summary

Terberg Tractors Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Assistant Manager, Parts Excellence for APAC Aftersales to optimize inventory, improve parts availability, and support reliable service delivery across Asia Pacific.

The role collaborates with distributors, factories, and logistics partners to drive forecast accuracy, backorder resolution, data quality, and cross-functional supply chain improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in spare parts planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
• Experience with distributors, suppliers, factories, or regional networks is advantageous.
• Exposure to heavy equipment or industrial products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive parts availability and service performance across APAC.
• Develop inventory and service-level strategies aligned with demand and base requirements.
• Forecasting and demand planning using installed-base and maintenance data.
• Manage shortages, backorders, and corrective actions with factories and logistics partners.
• Govern parts master data, planning parameters, and process standards.
• Collaborate across factories, hubs, logistics providers, and distributors.
• Improve returns and parts operations; streamline information flows.
• Provide data-driven insights on fill rate, forecast accuracy, and working capital.
