Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Sales Manager - Services for Lifecycle Services APAC in Malaysia. You will lead service sales for automated baggage handling systems, shaping solutions with cross-functional teams, and guiding bid strategies.

Build strong customer relationships, validate pricing, and articulate the business value of services. You will collaborate with regional leaders, translate complex requirements into executable plans, and travel up to 40% across APAC to drive opportunities and margin

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in selling services for automated baggage handling systems.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex logistics problems and design service solutions.
• Demonstrated sales acumen with experience influencing design strategies and pricing decisions.
• Ability to lead and coach Sales Engineers and guide bid teams.
• Experience working in dynamic, international environments and traveling up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the concept stage of service sales projects with a multidisciplinary team.
• Translate service solutions into detailed plans aligned with technical and operational requirements.
• Design service solutions for medium to large projects using data and customer inputs.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, influencing decisions at all levels.
• Own service pricing accuracy to ensure cost-effectiveness and margin targets.
• Act as a business advisor to illustrate service value and secure follow-on contracts.
• Drive process improvements, methodologies, and tools within service sales projects.
• Travel internationally within APAC up to 30–40%.
