Job summary

Links International is seeking an experienced IT Operations professional to manage Tier 2 IT operations and payroll system maintenance across Malaysia, China and APAC regions. You will oversee vendor management, software implementations, and regional databases while monitoring infrastructure health and ensuring SLA adherence.

The role includes providing Tier 1/2 support to payroll teams, maintenance tasks, and ad hoc IT projects under the IT Manager.

Qualifications

• 5 years in Tier 2 IT operations and system database maintenance.
• Experience in software system implementation and software vendor management.
• Familiar with IT infrastructure and related skills (Networking, backups, storage).

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple internal payroll systems across countries.
• Oversee payroll applications lifecycle including vendor mgmt and maintenance.
• Configure and maintain regional databases and systems for APAC users.
• Provide application support and troubleshooting to payroll teams
• Monitor servers, network devices, storage and cloud environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents within SLA
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates and optimization
• Cover/backup other IT Team Members' day-to-day operations
• Provide Tier 1/2 user support and handle ad hoc IT tasks as assigned
