Job summary

SEEK is seeking an HR Specialist to support employees across Malaysia and Singapore. You will act as a trusted HR advisor, coordinating the employee lifecycle from hire to retire while ensuring local compliance.

Reporting to the HR Operations and Payroll Manager, Asia, you will work with HR technology and external service providers to deliver exceptional employee experiences and maintain data accuracy. You'll validate payroll processes as we transition to vendor-managed payroll.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HR operations, employee services, or payroll processing.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to handle sensitive matters diplomatically.
• Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with HR cloud systems.
• Solid understanding of HR and employment regulations in Malaysia, Singapore, or Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, including orientation and exit procedures.
• Act as trusted HR advisor for employees and managers on policies and self-service usage.
• Validate payroll processing for assigned regions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Update and maintain HRIS and payroll system records for data changes.
• Verify compliance with tax liabilities and statutory contributions.
• Support regional payroll outsourcing transition planning.
