Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an HR Partner to drive global and regional HR projects, oversee employee lifecycle activities, and ensure alignment with local labor laws and corporate standards.

You will own policy governance, develop localized HR policies for APAC (including China), design training programs, and support HR initiatives across the region while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 5+ years HR experience in an MNC manufacturing environment.
• Experience localizing HR policies across APAC, including China.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR governance, and policy management.
• Excellent written communication and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve company HR policies, procedures, and guidelines for compliance and transparency.
• Establish and maintain a structured policy management framework with approvals and audit trails.
• Own the lifecycle of HR policies from drafting to retirement.
• Monitor local labor laws and translate them into actionable HR policies.
• Design and deliver training on HR policies and compliance requirements.
• Lead global, regional, and local HR initiatives and projects.
• Manage employee relations, including disciplinary processes and grievances.
• Support day-to-day HR operations, including mandatory training and reporting.
• Contribute to HR systems optimization to enhance efficiency.
