congatec is seeking an experienced HR leader to manage the full employee lifecycle across APAC, including Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and China. You will lead APAC HR staff, collaborate with Global HR, and drive alignment of local needs with global strategies.

The role requires hands-on operational support, development of HR processes, and participation in international HR projects with regular travel across the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of HR experience, ideally in an international environment.
• Solid knowledge of Malaysian labor law; knowledge of Taiwanese labor law is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin skills would be an asset.

Responsabilités

• Provide functional leadership of APAC HR staff and collaborate with Global HR.
• Support the execution and rollout of global HR strategies regionally.
• Coordinate with regional/global stakeholders to align local needs with global strategies.
• Act as trusted HR contact for employees and managers in APAC.
• Coordinate and support labor law matters across the APAC region.
• Develop and optimize HR processes and policies; contribute to talent management and leadership programs.
• Provide hands-on operational HR support and participate in international HR projects.
• Willingness to travel regularly.

• Responsible for the entire employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding—across congatecs locations in APAC (Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, China)
• Functional leadership of HR staff in APAC and close collaboration with Global HR
• Support for the execution of global HR strategies and ensuring their effective rollout across the region.
• Drive collaboration with regional and global stakeholders and ensure alignment between local needs and global strategies.
• Act as trusted contact for employees and managers in APAC regarding HR-related matters
• Coordinate and support labor law matters across the APAC region
• Support the further development and optimization of HR processes and policies
• Contribute to talent management and leadership development programs
• Provide hands-on operational HR support where needed and participate in international HR projects
• Position requires regular travel

Requirements

• Degree (or comparable qualification) in human resource management, business administration, labor law, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of HR experience, ideally with some years in a similar role
• Profound experience in all key HR areas as well as experience in supporting multiple countries in an international environment
• Solid knowledge of Malaysian labor law; knowledge of Taiwanese labor law would be an asset
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken), Mandarin language skills would be a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and with the ability to build trust at all levels
• Proactive, hands-on, solution-oriented, and self-driven personality, capable of working independently across a multi-country environment
