congatec GmbH is seeking an experienced APAC HR leader to drive end-to-end HR processes across Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, Japan and China. You will partner with Global HR to ensure effective rollout of strategies and lead regional HR staff in a fast-paced, multi-country environment.

The role requires expertise in Malaysian labor law, strong English communication, and the ability to travel regularly to sites within the APAC region. Mandarin is a plus for broader regional collaboration.

Formación

• Degree in human resource management, business administration, labor law, or related field.
• 7+ years of HR experience, ideally in a similar role.
• Experience supporting multiple countries in an international environment.
• Solid knowledge of Malaysian labor law; Taiwanese labor law would be an asset.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin skills a plus.

• Responsible for the entire employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding—across congatecs locations in APAC (Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, China)
• Functional leadership of HR staff in APAC and close collaboration with Global HR
• Support for the execution of global HR strategies and ensuring their effective rollout across the region.
• Drive collaboration with regional and global stakeholders and ensure alignment between local needs and global strategies.
• Act as trusted contact for employees and managers in APAC regarding HR-related matters
• Coordinate and support labor law matters across the APAC region
• Support the further development and optimization of HR processes and policies
• Contribute to talent management and leadership development programs
• Provide hands-on operational HR support where needed and participate in international HR projects
• Position requires regular travel

Requirements:

• Degree (or comparable qualification) in human resource management, business administration, labor law, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of HR experience, ideally with some years in a similar role
• Profound experience in all key HR areas as well as experience in supporting multiple countries in an international environment
• Solid knowledge of Malaysian labor law; knowledge of Taiwanese labor law would be an asset
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken), Mandarin language skills would be a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and with the ability to build trust at all levels
• Proactive, hands-on, solution-oriented, and self-driven personality, capable of working independently across a multi-country environment
