Job summary

Xplor Technologies is seeking an Accounts Executive in Kuala Lumpur to manage General Ledger operations, tax, and financial reporting across 12 APAC entities. You will ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance, prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and support intercompany processes in a fast-paced, multinational setting.

The role requires collaboration with external teams and business stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records and timely reporting across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years in General Ledger, Financial Accounting, or R2R.
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Experience managing multiple entities in APAC.
• Knowledge of GST, VAT, SST and cross-jurisdiction compliance.
• Strong accounting principles and internal controls.
• ERP experience (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a multinational environment.
• Excellent communication across countries/time zones.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger records and prepare journal entries for multiple APAC entities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies timely.
• Review and analyze GL accounts for completeness and accuracy.
• Support intercompany accounting, reconciliations and balance confirmations.
• Manage intercompany transactions and ensure timely settlement per group policies.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across 12 entities.
