Job summary

Air Liquide ALBS in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Manager, General Ledger to lead the regional GL function across the APAC region excluding China, driving multi-currency consolidations, governance, and timely closings. The role focuses on a standardized, compliant process with strong stakeholder management.

You will champion digital transformation using Oracle ERP, RPA, and Lean Six Sigma, while coaching GL accountants and ensuring alignment with corporate policy and local statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Finance & Accounting experience with minimum 5 years in GL/RTR process management
• Shared Services / GBS experience is required
• Fluent written and spoken English; strong communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead regional GL operations, consolidation and closing for APAC (excluding China) with multi-currency reporting
• Drive governance, SLAs, and balance sheet integrity across affiliates
• Standardize GL workflows and accelerate closing cycles through Oracle ERP and automation
• Coach and develop a high-performing GL team and partner with HR on workforce planning
