Institut Straumann AG in Malaysia is seeking a skilled GL Accountant APAC to manage general ledger operations for China entities and other group entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and collaboration with SSC and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will lead month-end and year-end closures, reconciliations, assets management, and support budgets, audits, and statutory reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related majors.
• Post graduate professional qualifications e.g. ACCA/CIMA is preferred.
• Knowledge in China GAAP and IFRS accounting standards including tax accounting is preferred but not essential.
• Minimum 3 years working experiences in GL Accounting field for multinational companies. Experience in manufacturing companies is advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills, high degree of accuracy and attention to details.
• Fluent in English, Chinese both verbal and written (other additional language is a plus).
• Experience with SAP system is preferred.
• Familiar with FSSC concept or working experience in BPO is welcome.

Responsabilidades

• Record to Report month-end and year-end closing, journals prep, intercompany reconciliations, balance sheet review.
• Prepare reports and analysis of expenses.
• Provide support for and management of working capital – inventory, trade receivables and trade payables.
• Provide support to Accounting team in Accounts Payable functions if required.
• Maintenance, accounting and management of fixed assets.
• Provide support for budget and 5-year aspirations activities.
• Prepare financial reports and data provided to the bureau of statistics.
• Assist local finance with internal and external audit requests.
• Work closely with various stakeholders, SSC team, Finance BPs etc.
• Recommend, develop, and implement solutions for continuous improvements across various departments and functions.
• Maintenance of vendor master data.
• Perform Ad hoc tasks assigned by line manager.
