Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Business Development Director (Data Center) to lead strategic partnerships and drive commercial growth across APAC markets. The role requires building executive relationships with technology partners, cloud providers, and major clients, while guiding end-to-end deals and implementing CRM-driven pipeline management.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in B2B sales, proven leadership, and a track record of closing large-scale contracts across cross-border teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Possess 8 years of experience in B2B sales.
• Proven ability to independently secure and close large-scale enterprise contracts or major capacity deals.
• Proven leadership background.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage cross-border teams and build trust across diverse regional business environments.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain high-level executive relationships with key technology partners, equipment suppliers, cloud service providers, and major enterprise clients.
• Commercial Growth: Spearhead end-to-end commercial opportunities—from initial market discovery and value proposition design to complex negotiations and contract execution.
• Pipeline Operations: Implement structured CRM tools to track business pipelines, optimize sales performance, and ensure consistent revenue delivery.
• Cross-Border Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing business development team operating across regional and international markets
