Job summary

CNS Worldwide Executive Search is seeking a Software Implementation & Technical Support Engineer for the APAC region, based in Petaling Jaya. You will install and configure software at customer sites, troubleshoot issues and provide hands-on technical support across APAC, Europe and the US.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work independently at customer sites, and willingness to travel 30–40% across APAC while collaborating with global engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software implementation, application support, or field IT services.
• Experience installing and configuring software at customer sites.
• Good knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across APAC for installation, implementation and support.
• Install, configure and deploy software within customer IT environments.
• Troubleshoot software, connectivity, and system performance onsite and remotely.
• Configure user accounts, permissions, alarms and reports.
• Assist with software upgrades, testing and validation.
• Deliver technical training and guidance to customers.
