Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an APAC Account Management Director to oversee the department responsible for delivering all client commitments and to coordinate staff and operations that support the organization’s goals and strategies.

You will supervise teams, manage multiple client projects, and lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery across the APAC region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; 8–12 years of relevant experience
• Strong engineering background with hands-on technical experience
• Experience in the semiconductor industry
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, performance management, and employee retention is preferred
• Wastewater management or sustainability program experience is highly preferred
• Ability to communicate complex information and influence stakeholders effectively

About the Role:

As a CBRE APAC Account Management Director, you will assist with the oversight of the department responsible for delivering all client commitments.

This is part of the Operations Management job functions. They are responsible for coordinating staff functions and operations that support the organization's goals and strategies.

What You'll Do:

• Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
• Interact and consult with clients to understand business needs. Coordinate the resources needed to service projects, build strategic operational plans, and balance the expectations of clients with the execution of work.
• Manage several clients simultaneously, while serving as a point of contact for systems and processes for new and current projects.
• Oversee the management of sales and relationships with key customers. Ensure proper services and enhancements are being carried out. Troubleshoot and solve conflicts.
• Direct the project process. This includes developing project plans, creating a project team, and managing timeframes and performance.
• Verify the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs and objectives as well as contract specifics.
• Consult with internal and client teams to define project requirements, investigating various approaches to attain end results.
• Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
• Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
• Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred, with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Strong engineering background, supported by formal education and hands-on technical experience.
• Must have experience working within the semiconductor industry.
• Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and employee retention is preferred.
• Additional experience in wastewater management, environmental compliance, or related sustainability programs is highly preferred.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complex, and difficult information, clearly convey performance expectations, influence stakeholders, and effectively resolve problems.
