Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Manager, Accounts Payable (OPEX & T&E) to lead regional AP operations, ensuring accurate vendor invoicing and employee reimbursements within the Finance Shared Service Centre.

You will drive process improvements, standardisation, and automation, while partnering with Procurement, HR, Payroll and regional teams to support DayOne's expansion.

Qualifications

• A recognised bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• At least 6–8 years of relevant Accounts Payable experience.
• 2+ years in a team leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Hands-on AP ops experience with PO and non-PO invoices, GR/IR, month-end closing.
• Experience managing employee travel and expense claims across entities.

Responsibilities

• Lead OPEX AP operations across vendor invoices, PO/non-PO, GR/IR and accruals.
• Oversee staff claims process from submission to posting in SAP.
• Drive process improvements, SOPs, and SOX-compliant controls.
• Collaborate with HR, Procurement, GL, and regional stakeholders.
• Coach and develop AP team; monitor backlog and service levels.
