Job summary

Wilhelmsen is seeking an AP Accountant (P2P Invoicing) for a 12-month contract based in Kuala Lumpur. You will join Global Business Services supporting finance operations across the group, handling supplier invoices, coding, approvals and reconciliations in a high-volume setting.

The role reports to the Finance TL P2P Invoicing and requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 2+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of finance experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience in Accounts Payable and related processes is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and ERP systems (IFS/SAP/Oracle).
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Register supplier invoice data into the accounting system.
• Manage invoice coding and approval workflows with direct approvals.
• Process non-PO vouchers and month-end accruals.
• Handle three-way match transactions and related accruals.
• Ensure scanned invoices are stored correctly in the system.
• Support month-end/ year-end close and audits.
