Job summary

Samsung Electronics in Malaysia is seeking a SSC Payroll Specialist (Australia & New Zealand) to manage payroll for ANZ region with accuracy and compliance. You will verify salary components, prepare reconciliation reports, and adjust leave data as required.

Collaboration with HR and Finance ensures data integrity while contributing to system improvements. The role requires 2–3 years in ANZ payroll, strong knowledge of ANZ tax and employment regulations, and proficiency with ADP and Workday

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Finance/HR
• Minimum 2–3 years of payroll administration experience for Australia and New Zealand
• Strong knowledge of ANZ employment law, tax regulations, and statutory requirements

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for employees for Australia & New Zealand.
• Calculate and verify salary and compensation components.
• Prepare reconciliation reports including tax, statutory deductions and contributions.
• Adjust leave records for payroll related transactions.
• Collaborate with Subsidiary HR to ensure data accuracy and raise system change requests when needed.
• Review payroll processes and SOPs to ensure controls and proper documentation.
• Support audits by providing payroll documentation and evidence.
• Liaise with Subsidiary HR, employees, Finance and Technical Support on payroll matters.
• Participate in payroll system enhancement projects and testing.
• Support payroll testing, UAT and implementation of new requirements.
