Responsibilities

• Charge and recover refrigerant in compliance with environmental regulations.

About the role
We are seeking experienced Aircond Technicians at least 3-5 years experience to join our growing team in Balakong, Selangor. This is a hands-on technical position where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems for both residential and commercial clients. As an Aircond Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive reliable cooling solutions and exceptional service. This is a field-based role that offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and develop your technical expertise within a supportive team environment.

What you'll be doing

• Installing air conditioning units, including window units, split systems, and ducted systems in residential and commercial properties
• Conducting routine maintenance and servicing of air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning equipment
• Repairing or replacing faulty components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and refrigerant lines
• Performing refrigerant charging and recovery in compliance with environmental regulations
• Testing systems after installation or repair to verify correct operation and efficiency
• Responding to emergency service calls from customers experiencing air conditioning failures
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed, parts used, and service hours
• Providing customers with clear explanations of work performed and maintenance recommendations
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant health and safety standards

What we're looking for

• A recognised qualification in air conditioning and refrigeration technology or equivalent vocational training
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience working as an Aircond Technician
• Sound knowledge of air conditioning systems, including mechanical and electrical components
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and testing tools
• Valid refrigerant handling certification or willingness to obtain one
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical clients
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions
• A valid driving licence and reliable transportation to travel between job sites
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Preferred experience with both residential and commercial air conditioning systems
