Job summary

Letrik Tulin Sdn Bhd is seeking an Air Conditioning Technician to join our technical team in Malaysia. You will lead a small team to install, service, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, diagnose issues, and ensure quality work on-site.

You should have HVAC-related qualifications, practical installation experience, and a valid GDL License. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for coordinating with clients and other M&E teams.

Qualifications

• SPM/Certificate/Diploma in HVAC or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform HVAC installation, servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults.
• Handle compressors, motors, electrical wiring, refrigerant leaks, drainage and condensation issues.
• Perform refrigerant charging and copper pipe installation.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Supervise technicians and check work quality against standards and schedules.
• Prepare service and maintenance reports and spare-parts reports.
• Coordinate with supervisors, clients and other M&E teams when required.
• Ensure safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment.

Job description

At Letrik Tulin, you will be a key member of our technical team, working collaboratively in a 2–4 person team to deliver high-quality air-conditioning installation, servicing, maintenance and repair works. Your technical expertise, reliability and commitment will form the backbone of our operations, contributing directly to service excellence and the continued growth of the company.

Key responsibilities

Lead and carry out installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of air-conditioning/HVAC systems

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical and refrigeration system faults

Handle compressors, motors, fan motors, electrical wiring, refrigerant leaks, drainage and condensation issues

Perform refrigerant charging, copper pipe installation and welding/brazing works

Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently

Supervise and guide technicians and workers on daily site activities

Check work quality and ensure jobs are completed according to required standards and schedules

Prepare service reports, maintenance records, materials and spare-parts reports

Coordinate with supervisors, clients and other M&E teams when required

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment

About you

Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in HVAC, Air-Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering or related field

Relevant experience in air-conditioning/HVAC installation, maintenance and repair

Strong troubleshooting and basic electrical skills

Valid GDL License is required

Able to lead a team and work independently

Good working attitude, responsible and punctual

Good communication and problem-solving skills
