OZAC Engineering and Services in Shah Alam, Selangor, is seeking a dedicated Aircond Service Technician for a full-time role to maintain, repair and install air conditioning systems. Qualifications

• Proven experience as an air conditioning technician or HVAC role.
• Valid air conditioning certification or relevant qualifications recognised in Malaysia.
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration principles and electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manufacturer documentation.
• Valid driving licence and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and servicing of air conditioning units for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot air conditioning system faults using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Repair or replace defective components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, refrigerant lines, and electrical elements.
• Install new air conditioning systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Test and recharge refrigerant systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
• Conduct system performance checks and efficiency assessments.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work completed.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding service requirements, recommendations, and repair costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all service activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and provide timely solutions to minimise client downtime.

OZAC Engineering and Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Aircond Service Technician to join our growing team in Shah Alam, Selangor. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to develop and utilise your technical expertise in air conditioning systems maintenance, repair, and installation. As an Aircond Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive reliable, efficient cooling solutions whilst maintaining our reputation for exceptional service quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

What we’re looking for

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and standard hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer documentation
• Valid driving licence and access to reliable transportation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and work at heights when necessary
• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional approach to work
• Preferred experience in both preventative maintenance and emergency repair services
