Job summary

Cooltech Engineering Sdn Bhd in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan is seeking an Air Conditioning Technician to install, maintain, service and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties.

Candidates should hold a Certificate or Diploma in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or Mechanical Engineering; PW4/Wireman certification is advantageous. Minimum 1–2 years’ experience, or fresh graduates, with strong problem solving and physical fitness, preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• PW4 / Wireman certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair various air-conditioning systems (split units, ceiling cassette, central, VRV/VRF).
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and check refrigerant levels, coils, and filters.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical faults in HVAC systems.
• Ensure installations and repairs comply with safety and quality standards.
• Complete service reports and maintenance checklists accurately and on time.
• Provide technical advice and support to clients for replacements or upgrades.
• Ensure proper usage of tools, equipment, and company assets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at job sites and adhere to policies.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently.

The Air Conditioning Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. This role requires hands‑on technical skills, a commitment to safety standards, and excellent customer service when interacting with clients on‑site.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair various types of air-conditioning systems including split units, ceiling cassette, central air systems, and VRV/VRF systems.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, including checking refrigerant levels, cleaning coils, and replacing filters.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with relevant safety and quality standards.
• Complete service reports, maintenance checklists, and other documentation accurately and on time.
• Provide technical advice and support to clients, offering recommendations when system replacements or upgrades are necessary.
• Ensure proper usage of tools, equipment, and company assets.
