Job summary

Peace Air Conditioning Sales & Service in Kuching is seeking motivated individuals to join our technical team as HVAC Interns. You will learn hands-on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and site management under certified installers.

We welcome Diploma or Certificate holders in HVAC or related fields, and you will gain real-world experience with top brands while preparing for future full-time opportunities. Monday–Saturday work with a monthly allowance, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or a recent graduate with a Diploma or Certificate in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, or a related technical field.
• Must have own transport to reach the office in Tabuan Laru.
• Able to communicate in Chinese, English and Malay with team and customers.
• Physically capable of climbing ladders and lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Installation: assist lead technicians in installing split and multi-split systems at residential and commercial sites.
• Maintenance & Service: learn and perform routine servicing including chemical washes, gas top-ups, and filter cleaning.
• Troubleshooting: assist in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and observing repair procedures.
• Inventory & Tools: conduct weekly stock takes and ensure tools/materials are ready for daily appointments.
• Scheduling & Site Management: help arrange bookings and maintain a clean, professional workspace at customer sites.

We are an air conditioning company based in Tabuan Laru, Kuching, looking for motivated and hardworking individuals to join our technical team as Interns. Responsibilities:

Hands‑on Installation: Assist lead technicians in installing split and multi‑split air conditioning units at residential and commercial sites.

Maintenance & Service: Learn and perform routine servicing, including chemical washes, gas top‑ups, and filter cleaning.

Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and observing repair procedures.

Inventory & Tools: Conduct weekly stock takes of equipment and ensure all tools/materials are ready for daily appointments.

Scheduling: Assist in arranging appointment bookings and updating job statuses using digital tools.

Site Management: Ensure a clean and professional workspace at the customer's premises.

Requirements:

Education: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate with a Diploma or Certificate in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, or a related technical field.

Language: Able to speak Chinese, English, and Malay to communicate effectively with the team and customers.

Physical Fitness: Able to handle physical work, including climbing ladders and lifting equipment.

Attitude: Strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Transport: Must have own transport to reach the office in Tabuan Laru.

Skills: Basic knowledge of hand tools is a plus.

Working Hours:

Monday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Monthly Allowance: RM600.00 - RM1,000.00 (depending on experience/qualifications).
