Job summary

FM Global Logistics is seeking an ambitious Assistant Sales Manager (Air Freight) in Bayan Lepas, Penang, to drive new key account acquisition and grow air freight revenue. You will leverage your industry network to win high-value customers and expand our air freight and freight forwarding footprint.

In this role you will build tailored proposals, negotiate rates and solutions, and coordinate with Operations and Customer Service to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in logistics or related field.
• Proven network and track record in air freight / freight forwarding.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new key accounts in air freight.
• Develop strategies to acquire high-value, long-term customers.
• Maintain relationships with decision-makers and existing clients.
• Prepare tailored proposals and negotiate rates.
• Monitor market trends, capacity, and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with Operations and Customer Service for onboarding and service delivery.
• Track pipeline and revenue contributions.
