Job summary

Hanjin Global Logistics Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Business Development Manager (Freight Forwarding) to lead expansion in Kuala Lumpur, focusing on air freight co-loading and BSA with KE PEN/KUL sectors. You will leverage your strong agent and freight forwarder networks to maximize cargo consolidation and space utilization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding or logistics business development.
• Extensive experience in Air Freight.
• Prior Airline Cargo Sales or Air Freight Sales experience preferred.
• Mandarin language fluency is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead expansion efforts in Kuala Lumpur with focus on Air Freight Co-loading and BSA for KE PEN/KUL sectors.
• Leverage networks with local freight forwarders and agents to drive co-loading volume and optimize capacity.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and support pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align customer needs with operations and monitor KPIs.
• Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and client meetings.
