Job summary

INDIBA Asia seeks a Senior AI Transformation Specialist to drive AI enablement, coaching and regional business transformation across Asia-Pacific in Kuala Lumpur. You will lead AI projects, coach leaders, and align processes with data privacy and governance while delivering measurable efficiency gains.

The role requires 5+ years in AI enablement or digital transformation, strong PM, and fluency in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Digital Transformation or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in AI enablement, automation, digital transformation, process improvement or technology consulting.
Practical experience evaluating, implementing and measuring the effectiveness of AI, automation or other digital solutions.
Experience training and coaching employees, driving technology adoption and managing behavioural change.
Ability to understand business needs and translate technical concepts into practical solutions for non-technical users.
Strong project management, communication, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills.
Good understanding of responsible AI, data privacy, confidentiality and cybersecurity.
Strong written and spoken English and Mandarin.
Experience supporting multiple Asia-Pacific markets would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities where AI and automation can improve productivity, accuracy, service quality and decision-making.
Evaluate and recommend suitable AI tools based on business needs, usability, cost, scalability and risk.
Develop practical use cases, business cases and pilot projects before wider implementation.
Coordinate the testing, implementation and regional rollout of approved AI tools, workflows and automation.
Work with country teams, department heads, IT support and vendors on technical requirements and system integration.
Establish appropriate controls for data privacy, confidentiality, cybersecurity and responsible AI use.
Monitor adoption and measure outcomes, including time savings, cost efficiency, productivity and quality improvements.
Report progress, results, risks and recommendations to senior management.
Assess AI readiness and identify capability and behavioural gaps across the organisation.
Coach team leaders, managers and executives on using AI to improve productivity, decision-making and team workflows.
Conduct practical, role-specific training for leaders and employees across different functions.
Develop user guides, prompt libraries and other learning resources.
Support leaders in integrating approved AI tools into their teams’ daily work.
Address resistance, misuse and overreliance through coaching and clear expectations.
Reinforce accountability for reviewing the accuracy and quality of AI-generated work.
Build a culture of responsible AI adoption, continuous learning and improvement
Understand end-to-end workflows across countries and departments.
Identify how information, approvals and activities flow between local teams, regional functions and management.
Identify process gaps, duplicated work, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Harmonise regional processes, standards and templates while considering local requirements.
Manage cross-border data privacy, confidentiality and regulatory risks.
Lead the implementation of agreed process improvements and transformation initiatives.
Support teams with different levels of digital readiness and facilitate the adoption of new ways of working.
Measure improvements in efficiency, consistency, quality and overall business performance.
