Job summary

Systems Limited - APAC in Malaysia seeks a software engineer to build and maintain non-AI application code (UI, APIs, data layer) for AI feature integration. You will implement well-specified features alongside AI Architects/Engineers and write unit tests to uphold code quality across the stack.

You will participate in agile ceremonies, document code for onboarding, and handle code review feedback with a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering fundamentals including data structures and API design.
• Experience with testing discipline and version control practices.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and cloud deployment basics.
• Comfortable receiving and acting on code review feedback.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain non-AI application code (UI, APIs, data layer).
• Implement features and integrations under AI Architects/Engineers.
• Write unit and integration tests; maintain code quality.
• Support debugging and production issue triage across the stack.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and documentation for onboarding.
• Communicate progress and blockers to the lead engineer.
