Job summary

Pand.ai is seeking an AI Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to build AI-powered applications and backend services. You will tackle complex problems from requirements through deployment, applying strong Python fundamentals and a willingness to learn new technologies.

The role focuses on integrating AI with enterprise data, APIs and workflows, building interfaces with React/TypeScript, and deploying on Docker/cloud infrastructure while advancing system reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong Python proficiency and production-grade software experience.
• Experience building production software, backend services or APIs used by others.
• Solid understanding of databases and API integration.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered applications, backend services and APIs using Python.
• Develop RAG, semantic search, agentic and LLM-powered systems.
• Integrate AI with enterprise data, APIs, tools and business workflows.
• Build product interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Deploy and operate applications using Docker and cloud infrastructure.
• Design, debug and improve systems for reliability, security and performance.
