Job summary

Ant International's Malaysia Tech Center is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to own end-to-end product engineering delivery in an AI-native environment. You will help clarify requirements, design solutions, build software, and validate outputs with a strong emphasis on security, reliability, and business outcomes.

Working with AI agents across the delivery lifecycle, you will implement backend services and APIs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to scalable fintech platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational programming proficiency in a general-purpose language.
• Understanding of APIs, databases, and version control.
• Ability to build and debug software with strong ownership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clearly scoped product features from requirement clarification to deployment.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs following engineering standards.
• Ensure code quality through validation and production feedback.
• Collaborate with AI agents within AI-native engineering workflows.
