Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is looking for an Admission Clerk to oversee the admission unit, ensuring accurate patient data entry and timely processing of documents. You will coordinate deposits, guarantees, and insurance-related paperwork while maintaining efficient patient flow.

The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work within a team to meet operational targets. Prior experience in hospital admissions is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent required.
• 1 year working experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with admission processes and documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct day-to-day operations of the Admission unit.
• Ensure patient particulars are entered accurately on admission forms.
• Verify that information on admission forms is valid and complete.
• Attach and file supporting documents appropriately.
• Ensure Guarantee Letter (GL) verification and scanning before treatment.
• Coordinate deposit collection and issue receipts with clear co-payment details.
• Direct patients to wards as per management targets.
• Monitor the BMS system closely and respond to alerts.
• Comply with occupational health and safety standards and ISO requirements.
