Shah Alam Buddhist Society is seeking a front desk administrator to professionally greet visitors, answer phones and emails, and support day-to-day admin tasks. The role requires handling confidential information with discretion and assisting with scheduling and event bookings.
The candidate should be fluent in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia, possess strong Microsoft Office skills, and be able to work both independently and in a team. Weekend and some public holidays work are required.
Welcome and assist visitors, devotees, and clients professionally at the front desk.
Handle phone and email enquiries, providing basic information and directing communications appropriately.
Support daily administration through clerical tasks, document preparation, filing, photocopying, and scanning.
Maintain accurate records, manage mail and deliveries, and monitor office supplies and inventory.
Assist with scheduling, venue bookings, event administration, and handling confidential information with discretion.
Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, with good written and verbal communication skills.
Mandarin-speaking ability is essential, as this role will involve serving Mandarin-speaking customers and visitors.
Proficient in computer usage and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Responsible, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Candidates with planning, coordination, and execution skills will be an added advantage.
Must be willing to work on weekends and certain public holidays.
