Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated in Malaysia seeks an Actuarial Analyst to assist in US GAAP and statutory reporting and related projects. The role supports valuation and management reporting, improves processes, and contributes to economic valuation analyses.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of life insurance/reinsurance experience, solid Excel/SQL skills, and exposure to actuarial modeling. Strong analytical abilities and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• Progress in SOA exams or equivalent actuarial bodies.
• 2–4 years in life insurance/reinsurance with US GAAP experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and SQL, Alteryx is a plus; actuarial modeling experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in production, analysis and reconciliation of valuation and management reporting across US GAAP, STAT and TAX bases.
• Support ongoing process improvement initiatives within the valuation team to enhance efficiency, controls, and timeliness.
• Contribute to economic valuation projects, including EC and related analysis.
• Perform valuation projections and model runs for statutory, corporate and regulatory reporting.
• Assist in development and documentation of Best Estimate Assumptions, including experience studies.
