Job summary

Allianz Malaysia is seeking an actuarial professional to perform actuarial analysis and develop and maintain models. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights that support decision-making and risk management.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or mathematics/statistics.
• Fresh graduates or up to 4 years of relevant experience encouraged.
• Progress in internationally recognised actuarial examinations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Python coding is an added advantage.
• Proficient in AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Support Appointed Actuary in valuing insurance liabilities and preparing statutory/financial reports.
• Provide ICAAP support and other capital management matters.
• Provide statistical and analytical support to other business units.
• Maintain systems, processes and documentation to ensure high-quality actuarial outputs.
